Below are some of the most frequently asked questions we receive from families during the memorial process.

We do our best to make the process as easy as possible. A Memorial Counselor will meet with you to learn more about your needs for your monument. They will walk you through the differences in memorial types, granite and design elements. Your Memorial Counselor will guide you through the whole process from design creation and approval to installation.

We will work with you on a payment agreement that meets your needs. In most situations, customers will pay half of the total cost as a down payment. The remaining balance is due upon monument completion. You will have the chance to view the monument, either in person at our Galion location or a photo of the completed monument can be emailed to you, to ensure everything is exactly as you ordered prior to paying your remaining balance. Our recommendation is to use warm water with a little Dawn dish soap and a soft brush. Do not use harsh chemicals or over the counter cleaners on your memorial, as it can damage or discolor the granite. We offer professional monument cleaning services as well.

If your memorial is leaning or sinking into the ground this indicates a problem with the foundation. In most cases, you will want to contact the cemetery. However, if Longstreth Memorials poured your foundation you can contact us directly to pour a new foundation.
